A great medtech idea and a solid strategy are only the beginning.

Once you have validated the need and developed the strategy, you have to actually build the company and execute the plan. That means finding engineers, product-development experts, lawyers, regulatory and reimbursement advisors, clinical and quality professionals, business leaders, investors, and many others.

Now, good luck finding all of them.

In the third installment of the Chrysalis webinar series, we will move beyond Phase Zero and focus more closely on Phase One: Structuring for Success. We will discuss what happens when an inventor moves from evaluating an opportunity to assembling the people, resources, company structure, and capital needed to move a medical technology forward.

And we will address something that is often overlooked: the importance of having the right people and the right network around you.

Successful medtech companies are not built by one person. They require people with very different expertise working together at the right time. Knowing who you need, when you need them, where to find them, and how their work fits together can make the difference between moving forward efficiently and spending years and significant capital correcting avoidable mistakes.

That is one of the reasons Chrysalis exists. We bring experienced medtech operators and specialists together around the same table and connect innovators with the broader network they will need to build their companies.

What We'll Discuss

  • Moving from Phase Zero into Phase One: Turning strategy into action.
  • Building the Company: Establishing the right legal and business foundation.
  • Building the Product: Moving from concept through development and toward commercialization.
  • Building the Team: Identifying the expertise needed to move forward.
  • Raising Capital: Preparing the company and story for investors.
  • Building the Network: Finding the people and resources that can help.
  • Keeping Everyone Aligned: Making sure the different workstreams move together.
