Benjamin (Ben) Tramm, Esq., brings over two decades of experience in medical technology and intellectual property law to his role as Partner at Chrysalis Incubator. In addition to his legal practice, Ben’s engineering work experience and technical degrees in electrical engineering and physics allow him to deeply understand complex medical technologies.
Ben is a Partner at Merchant & Gould, one of the oldest and largest full-service intellectual property law firms in the United States. Ben serves as the Chair of the Electrical and Software Practice Group, which focuses on protecting electronic- and software-related technologies around the world. Ben also serves on the IP Advisory Board of his alma matter, Mitchell Hamline School of Law.
Prior to his legal practice, Ben was an engineer at Medtronic where he developed electronic and software tools associated with implantable medical devices.
